Comprehensive care for persons with disabilities

A program of comprehensive care to persons with disabilities integrates the following services:

Home-help service (SAD - Servicio de Ayuda a Domicilio)

The SAD is a service which consists in offering aid to the elderly or the support requirements for implementation of the activities of daily life, in addition to giving support to dysfunctional families.Its purpose is the family support and in most cases avoid institutionalization in nursing homes. Aimed at people with mobility problems, lack of social relationship (loneliness, isolation), people with terminal illness or permanent.

Services offered:

Personal hygiene
Grooming and clothing
Medication monitoring
Personal accompaniment
Meal service at home

TELECARE SERVICE

TELECARE is a service which involves the offering of the elderly or disabled people the possibility to maintain their independence, responding to their needs in case of emergency, and allows them to maintain the relationship in the usual environment. They are cared for by a professional team that mobilizes the resources required 24 hours a day.

Can request the service:

Persons enumerated in Andratx older than 60 years.
Persons enumerated in Andratx with a handicap higher than 33%

SHUTTLE SERVICE TO CENTERS FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION

This service is offered to the families that have to charge a disabled person to facilitate commuting that involves the displacement of people with special education needs at various specialized centers in Palma.
